Today I am going to explain the process of updating the Sitecore License for an existing Sitecore Instance.
If your Sitecore license gets expired then you will get an error as shown in below image.
Before Sitecore 9.x you only need to replace your Sitecore license in one place. But after Sitecore 9.x you have to replace your Sitecore license at 3 places.
Firstly you have to go to your inetpub/wwwroot, where your three sites for a Sitecore Instance exist.
Now go to your App_Data folder for the main website and update your Sitecore license.
For me its path is C:\inetpub\wwwroot\sitecorelearnsc.dev.local\App_Data
Now go to your App_Data folder for the xConnect Website and update your Sitecore license.
For me its path is C:\inetpub\wwwroot\sitecorelearnxconnect.dev.local\App_Data
Now go to your sitecoreruntime folder for the Identity Server Website and update your Sitecore license.
For me its path is C:\inetpub\wwwroot\sitecorelearnidentityserver.dev.local\sitecoreruntime
Now reopen your Sitecore Instance and it will start working again.
